We, the Kibbutz Ramat Rachel Cooperative (ID 570000737), operating this website and the hotel & event-venue at the kibbutz (hereafter: “the Cooperative” and “the Site”), respect your privacy and are committed to the policy described below (hereafter: “the Policy” or “Privacy Policy”). The Policy supplements the general Terms of Use of the Site and any other written or implied agreement between you and the Cooperative, without limiting them. By using the Site and the Cooperative’s services you agree to this Privacy Policy.

Who we are and how to contact us

The Cooperative that owns and operates the hotel, event-venue and this Site is Kibbutz Ramat Rachel, Israel. If you have any question or concern related to your personal information, you may contact us at: hotel@krr.co.il.

The information we collect and store about you

During use of the Site and/or the Cooperative’s services (including the hotel and event-venue), different types of information may be collected:

Some information is anonymous and does not allow identifying you individually — for example, the number of daily visitors to the Site or the number of guests staying at the hotel at a given time.

Information submitted as part of registration or purchase of a service or product (e.g. booking hotel stay or event-venue), such as name, contact details, billing or payment information, service/product details, dates of purchase or rental, etc.

Technical and usage information collected via technologies such as cookies, like browsing behavior, device/browser data, etc.

CVs or other information submitted if you apply for employment with us.

You are not obligated to provide this information — but if you choose not to, some services may not be available (for example, we may be unable to contact you or complete a booking).

By submitting information to us, you declare that the data is correct, accurate, and that you are providing it on your behalf or are authorized to provide it.

Also, if you provide contact details or other information, we may — as part of our regular operations — contact you with offers, updates, and notifications related to the hotel, event-venue, or Cooperative activities. If you prefer not to receive such communications, you may contact us via the email above; we will make reasonable efforts to respect your request, subject to our legal obligations.

If you purchase or register for a service/product involving a third-party provider — in order to complete the service or purchase we may share only the necessary information with that third party.
If there is a legal dispute between you and the Cooperative requiring disclosure.
If you perform actions on the Site that violate the law or if we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect the Cooperative’s legal interests, or when required by court order or law.
In case of sale, merger or transfer of the Site or the Cooperative (or part thereof) — provided that the receiving entity undertakes to abide by this Privacy Policy.

If you explicitly request us to transfer your data to a third party.

Also, we may use external service providers (e.g. for hosting, maintenance, analytics, cloud storage, security, etc.). If we engage such third parties, we take care to use providers with high security and confidentiality standards, and share with them only the information strictly necessary to perform the relevant service.

Access, correction and deletion of your data

Under applicable privacy law (the Privacy Protection Law, 1981), any individual may request to view the personal data held about them. If you find information that is incorrect, incomplete or outdated, you may request correction or deletion.

If your data concerns only direct-marketing communications (e.g. newsletters), you may request removal from those mailing lists. We will delete the relevant contact information used for marketing; however, other data may remain in our records as required by law.

The Cooperative may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. You are invited to review the Policy periodically to stay informed of any changes.
