Eyal's Farm
Eyal's Farm is an ecological and treatment center that teaches visitors about viability, environmental protection and respect for animals. The facility was built in memory of Eyal Yoel, a young man born and raised on Kibbutz Ramat Rachel who was killed in the I.D.F.'s Defensive Shield Operation in 2002. The farm is a joint initiative of the kibbutz and the Yoel Family. Eyal loved animals and nature, and environmental protection was one of his prime concerns. Establishing a farm in his name is one way of continuing on the path he trod.
